Third day:

Early in the morning we woke up and went to the refugee camp where we were the day before aswell. When we arrived there we met Josh which is one of the leaders from the camp and he explained us what we were going to do, After a few minutes we already started working on a few things. We split the group in two, half of us went to make a soft ground for under the tents using a lot of lifejackets. The other half of the group went to set up a brand new tent and made canals around it so when it rains the water doesn't make its way into the tent. In this part some of the people there came to help us and wanted to do everything for us. We saw a lot of refugees at the camp and to some of them we felt really connected. We tried to make some conversation with them but 90% of them don't speak any English. We saw one guy sitting in the corner, crying, because he just left his family behind and lost his father. These kind of things really can break your heart. After the other group finished the first tent we grouped up to set up another two tents, which makes place for another 20 refugees. When we had lunch we sat down the hill with the group and there were groups of guys who really wanted to take a picture with us because we are so different for them, they became really happy and we hung around with them for a while. After we did a lot of work at the camp we went to the harbour again. This is part of the daily routine. It was great weather so we played around with the kids a lot. We bought some toys and a football for it and we had a lot of fun.

Fourth day:

When we had our breakfast we went to another camp called Pikpa. This is the location where Movement on the ground has their food truck located. This is a camp which is a bit smaller and a lot more peaceful. It's a special camp for disabled, pregnant woman and children who are traveling alone. Here we helped the guys who worked there to clean up all the boxes which went really quick since we have quite a big, hard working group. After that we got all the boxes with clothes out of the van, and since it was such a great weather we sat on the basketball court in the sun to sort everything out. We had a football there so we played around a little with some kids. The weather changed really bad at this time so we directly got in the vans on our way to the other camp because we wanted to prevent that people were having trouble with it. Luckily it didn't rain there all day so we could move to the harbour to do our daily routine again. When we got there we started putting up tents because it was still raining really bad, so people could stand under it with all their stuff and didn't get too wet. Everything went very well and quickly!
